Overview
With event-based notifications, you’ll receive timely updates on key actions and changes related to your availability and student schedules. These notifications ensure you stay informed and can promptly manage school requests and clinical schedules effectively.
Trigger Events for Site Notifications
You will receive notifications for the following events:
- A new slot request has been raised by a school.
- A message has been sent by a school, student or clinical instructor.
- Modifications to a request made by a school.
- Scheduling of a student on an approved slot by a school.
- Changes to a scheduled student made by a school.
- A student is removed from the schedule by a school.
- A student is replaced on the schedule by a school.
- A student is confirmed on a schedule.
- A student begins fulfilling onboarding requirements.
- A student submits all onboarding requirements.
- A clinical instructor becomes compliant for the schedule
Notifications will appear as pop-ups near the Notification Bell Icon and are stored in the Notification Center for future reference.
Accessing Notifications:
- Locate the bell icon in the top status bar of your screen.
- Click the bell icon to open the Notification Center.
- View Notifications by Category Notifications are organized into three categories in the Notification Center:
- All: Displays all messages and updates.
- All Messages: Shows messages exclusively from schools or students.
- All Updates: Displays all other update notifications received.
Click on a specific notification to navigate directly to the relevant action panel and view the update.
Managing Notifications
- Unread Notifications: Marked with a blue dot.
- Use Mark as Read or Mark as Unread to manage individual notification statuses.
- Mark All Read: Select this option to mark all notifications as read.
- Toggle Unread Only: Filter notifications to show only unread items.
Benefits
This feature keeps you informed and ensures that you can act promptly on important updates, improving your ability to manage availability and schedules effectively.
Notification Configuration:
- View the list of events that trigger notifications. The events are categorized under four categories: Messages , Slot Requests, Schedules and Onboarding.
- Select the specific events you want to be notified about at the category-level to or at an event-level under each category. Enabling/Disabling the notifications at the category-level will be applicable to all the events under that category.
- You can check or uncheck the boxes to mark your preferences of receiving notifications about specific events for both email and in-app notifications.
- Click Save Now to apply and save your configuration settings.
